BioThe Muggle world is in the grip of flares, dodgy sideburns and disco music. The wizarding world is a whirlwind of celebration, renewed hope and celebrity Quidditch matches after averting a war that could have destroyed it forever.
George Carter is 19, a working-class Muggle and fresh out of police training. A woodentop with street smarts and a terribly lenient view when it comes to "them irons", he is destined for a bright future in the Met and a cosy marriage to school-teacher Alison (if only he can get her to notice him).
Until he meets Charlie Weasley.
Charlie Weasley is 25, a working-class wizard with a talent for Quidditch that is in high demand. A Seeker for the Falcons and the darling of the media and the general public, he looks destined for a place on the England squad at the next Quidditch World Cup and the marriage of his dreams with his pick of the ladies (if only they can get him to notice them).
